Concept Biofuel is producing wood pellets and briquettes based solely on pure European hardwood from our own factories. Thus we can secure the quality of our products. All our products are free from glue residue since it is not part of our production. Therefore there is no smell and smoke discomfort related to using our products. Furthermore there will be no depositions in the furnace and the screw conveyor (-when using Stoker)
We use raw materials based on beech (75%), ash (15%) and oak (10%). These are the three wood species with the highest calorific value, which under no circumstances can be compared to that of conifer. The calorific value of ash is 4700 kcal/t and 4950 kcal/t for beech at a humidity level of app. 6% in the material. The benefit from having oak in our products is that oak contains tannic acid which reduces soot formation in your boiler and chimney.
